Some numbers first:
The 5th (and 6th) and all the previous days of December have passed. Please do not forget to give your $5.00 to Singleton Moms on the 5th of every month. This is the way we each contribute in a small way to make something big happen.
On the 6th I reached my 9 month anniversary of not smoking. I told Cathy last nite, we could have made a baby by now. She said something like, yeah, let's have a baby! Anyway, for those of you new here, I've blogged about the stop smoking there before, here and here. If I can do this, anyone can.
I haven't seen, read, or paid attention to any news from the media for 18 days now. Things have finally calmed down and folks are back to living their lives peacefully and respectfully.
Now, some shallow thoughts by your bobJuan.
I'm happiest with a pen in my hand.
This story, like life is
best told in the present tense.
Cathy came home from work again,
God am I lucky.
One more, for my girl:
each time she walks in
on a memory or a floor
the love in those eyes
my goodness it’s always been there
sometimes even she forgets
sooner or later you’re gonna need to get in
you already know plenty about out
on a memory or a floor
the love in those eyes
my goodness it’s always been there
sometimes even she forgets
sooner or later you’re gonna need to get in
you already know plenty about out
